Over the last 25 years, Tom from TK Arts has delivered a wide range of Theatre In Education projects with groups of young people.
From a weekend course or a whole week at half-term to a weekly, after-school club that spans a term or more, our Theatre In Education projects can be tailor-made to suit your needs.

Tom from TK Arts has a wealth of knowledge, experience and resources covering many issues affecting the lives of young people
such as: alcohol; bullying; child protection; citizenship; crime; diversity; domestic violence; drugs; gender; healthy lifestyles; Internet safety; mental health; relationships; sexuality; transition from primary to secondary school; unemployment.

Participants will explore issues affecting their lives to create and produce a piece of Theatre In Education, to be toured to their peers at other local schools and youth centre/projects.
A weekly, 2hr workshop for 6 weeks, followed by 5 days during half-term plus performances. Ages 11yrs+
Using group games, improvisation, mask work, mime, performance techniques, physical theatre, slapstick, stage combat and tableau, the young people will build strengths, relationships and teamwork skills to create a show, either to be performed in front of their peers or possibly toured to other local schools and youth projects.
To devise several sketches or one big show to be performed in a local town centre, festival or other outdoor event.

No experience is necessary but our Theatre In Education projects are ideal for. drama and performing arts students.
